Gluten-free Baked Goods!

About Us

Jenney and Eric found out they were gluten-intolerant several years
ago. At the time, it seemed they were doomed to a fate of crumbly
bread, pasty cookies, and cake that worked better as a door-stop
than as a dessert. Disappointed by the scant, and often less-than-
tasty, fair available in stores and restaurants, they ventured out on
their own and began baking gluten-free breads and treats at home.
They quickly found that the gluten-free goodies they baked at home
tasted just as good as (and sometimes even better than) the baked
goods they had enjoyed before their diagnoses. They began sharing
these treats with family and friends, both gluten-free and gluten-
loving. Encouraged by the praise they received (and the demands
for more treats!) they decided to take their gluten-free goods public,
and in 2006 formed Living Earth Bakery, combining Jenney's love of
baking and Eric's background as a coffeeshop owner.

At Living Earth Bakery, our philosophy is that gluten-free baked
goods should just taste good! All of our recipes have passed our
rigorous testing process...they have been sampled and approved as
“even better than the 'real' thing” by both gluten-free and gluten-
loving customers. All of our flours and baking aids are locally
milled/packaged, and have been tested to ensure they contain no
gluten, and since everything we bake is gluten-free there is no risk
of contamination in our kitchen. We use nothing but the purest and
freshest of ingredients, and take pride in buying organic and local
whenever possible.


We bake a full range of breads, cookies, cakes, brownies, and
muffins that everyone enjoys. We know you will, too!
